Thanks to everyone who participated in Service Sunday this past weekend! Our three projects were all successful and aided in helping many in the community!
Our projects included preparing and serving brunch at Chuches United for the Homeless, cleaning litter and garbage from the north and south ditches of 19th Avenue North from I-29 to 45th Street, and an in-house project at church making cloth diapers.
Thanks again- your dedication to getting out into the world and walking in the footsteps of Jesus himself is appreciated and we hope to keep driving forward with these service projects whenever we can!
Thank you so much to all of the Fargo Faith UMC congregation members who came together this past Sunday for SERVICE SUNDAY! Over 50 people participated in five different projects around the community which included yard work and maintenance at the Dorothy Day House and Yunker Farm, cleaning and stocking at the Dakota Boys & Girls Ranch, preparation and serving of brunch at Churches United, and mission kit building back at the church.
It was a rewarding morning for all of us as we set forth helping people and organizations in need. The opportunity to follow in the footsteps and the example of Jesus Christ is what church is all about! We hope to have even more volunteers and more projects they next time around!
